Tokio Hotel interview with Oliver Tauson - Esch, Luxembourg

Translation:

Bill: We are extremely nervous. I mean, we are always extremely nervous and this is not progress. I think it's only part of it. Of course, you're always nervous walking around the stage and as you are standing on it and then begins a relatively fast relax on stage and really just having fun. However, I have to say we are extremely nervous before this.

Bill: This time the big difference is that we have our own stage with us. Well yes, this is basically the difference. If one uses a local setting, as the place, then, of course, you save money when you do not have to drive from here to there. And this time we have our own stage with us. Therefore it is all just a bit more complicated.

Bill: Looking back, when I really was still quite young as seven, eight years, I too was so Nena concert in the rain as I hoped so. Definitely.

Tom: During the last phase of our production of the album - which took almost a year - Georg and I took only took two weeks, and passed by the house of Jessica Alba with a tent and settled. Nah, she gave a concert. She also opened the door, erm, so therefore was not a success but those are just the little things that you get to do.

Bill: Especially Tom and I do not know any differently, yes? Grew well. We talked about the hatred greatly in older people even when we were still very young. Therefore ... This is also one of those things we enjoy rather than bad for us and one must also say that we would not be where we are now if we had not we, the anti. So, therefore ... Actually we are quite grateful.

Bill: Usually people hate us or just like this and so there really is something rarely intermediary and therefore ... Well, Tom and I grew up well. I mean even if we did not do nothing about music. All we had to do was get on the school bus and the same happened there. So therefore, erm ... this is really something that we are fully accustomed.

Bill: Good question! How you can still make money being a musician today?! Es .. difficult, I have to say.
Tom: Actually we had a similar problem because, erm, of course we spend money to produce the tour ... certainly not win any money so real tour and the CD also, it is becoming less and less all the time.
Bill: So, apart Georg has to prostitute every day. (Laughs) Walking down the street too.
Georg: Bill is my best customer, on purpose.
Bill: Exactly. (Laughs)

Bill: I think that really sucks, especially for the boys just arrived. I mean, to get a record deal and this is fine, and still get a great success as an artist in these times. I think it becomes harder and harder because people do not invest any more, of course. Well, when I look at our own record label shit, so ...
Tom: (laughs) Yes, exactly.
Bill: ... We can ... we know about this.

Bill: Of course we can talk about the past five years especially, when you check out the record industry, then, erm, there are definitely many, many older people sitting in front of his desk crying in the record. I mean, this is going downhill. It really has been easy to follow the matter during the last five years.
Tom: When you get Platinum in Germany for 10 years? It was probably, like, two million records sold or something?
Bill: Probably, yes.
Tom: I think the Platinum now stands at 200,000, right? Or something.

Tom: We also made a mistake ... What does "make a mistake? I would probably always the same many times. Somehow we've never done things like, erm, some advertising contracts or something, like, where we said "Well, come on. Let's do it only so that we can make some cash somehow." or "Let's just throw a Tokyo Hotel Lollipop." Or something. We really always had care of it somehow ... Yes, we could, like, totally approve. And in fact we've really focused more of our tours, our albums while in reality we all, all behind this could be forgotten.

Bill: What we want ...? Definitely want to go to Asia later. We ...
Tom: That people buy records again and the music industry thrives again. (Laughs)
Bill: Exactly. We want fewer illegal downloads worldwide.

Bill: Hey, we are Tokio Hotel and we had an interview with Oliver and was ...
Georg and Tom: Well ... well ... bearable.
Bill: It was super, great, fantastic
